***Pink Zebra Resealable Reed Diffuser Review & Giveaway***

I received a Reed Diffuser by Pink Zebra to review in the mail yesterday.... Honestly, here I am thinking, I'm a Yankee Candle kind of girl. Always have been. However, the moment I opened the shipping box I was hit with the most wonderful Tropical Mango fragrance! Right away I closed up my candle that had been burning all day and not providing much relief to an entire afternoon of cooking and the boy and man smells my little men and hubby tend to put off at random times....

Once I opened the lid to this handy Reed Diffuser the connecting rooms in my house whirled with my chosen scent of Tropical Mango..... Could it be possible? I am sitting at my desk at least 15 feet away and can still smell it's wonderful fragrance. With that, the closer you get to the Reeds the scent does not cause an overpowering smell like the stuff the hubby had picked up elsewhere that I made him get rid of last year because it was causing me headaches anytime I sat at the couch. No, Pink Zebra's fragrance has a calmer release to it that does not caused a migraine to set in.

Not only is the smell amazing, the way to re-soak the reeds is wonderfully innovative. Rather than removing the reeds and getting your hands messy and having the smell stick to your hands even after washing Pink Zebra's Reed Diffuser allows you to screw the lid on flip it around to re-soak the reeds and then remove the lid! Viola, no mess and the amazing smell continues to fill the house! Best of all is that it lasts for 3-5 months!!! Where before I was going through 1 candle every few days that DID NOT emit this great smell all throughout the rooms!!! The next scent I want to try is Pink Zebra's Sweet Pea & Lily and then the Red Delicious Apple! But that won't be for awhile with the lengthy amount of time the scents last with Pink Zebra's diffuser. Pink Zebra offers 16 different fragrances for the diffuser (Cedar Tangelo, Cucumber Flower, Fig &Cardamon, Floral Breeze, Garden Lilac, Green Fields, Green Tea & Lemongrass, Patchouli Sandalwood, PZ 1, Red Delicious Apple, Spiced Vanilla, Stone Washed Denim, Sweet Pea & Lily, Tarragon & Olive Leaf, Turquoise Waters, and Vanilla Creme) but it would take years to try them all, unless you have a really big house and place a few different scents throughout the home. ;)

$18 for 3-5 months of a wonderful scent as opposed to $25 for a large Yankee Candle that lasts me only a few days, maybe a week.... Heck as a penny pinching stay-at-home-mom, I know what I'll be using from now on!

And as a fun little treat, a few of the scents come with a "Bling" bracelet that you can either use to decorate the diffuser or wear it! SWEET! Click HERE to see all that Pink Zebra has to offer!

There is a special portion with Pink Zebra that hits close to home.... They have a HEROES program that provides FREE Day Care Opportunities to qualified Single Mothers!!!! Being a former single mother I know how much day care costs, how much of a stress that bill alone caused, it seemed like I was working most days just to be away from my son and then the other days I was working just to keep food in his mouth only and a roof over our heads. The fact that they give a day of day care for every $500 party is quite amazing!

Pink Zebra NEEDS MORE Single Mother applicants to apply for Free Day Care! Currently less than 10 women are taking advantage of this program. And they don't get 1 day, it's a 90 day program (3 months of free child care) and they can reapply too! It really is a great cause and they look forward to donating more days! :)

***Green Chili Cheese Chicken Enchiladas***

Ingredients:

1 large can green chili enchilada sauce or two 10oz cans
Corn Tortillas
2-3 cups Vegetable Oil (depending on size of pan)
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Kraft Mexican Four Cheese Shredded
1 4.5 oz can Chopped & Peeled Green Chili's
Large 10X13 glass baking pan

Instructions:
Bake chicken at 350 for 40-45 min until fully cooked.
Place chicken in large bowl and shred with 2 forks into smaller pieces
Put 1/2-1cup of cheese in with shredded chicken and mix

Put Green Chili Enchilada Sauce in a separate large bowl

Put Vegetable Oil in frying pan (make sure you have a splash screen so hot oil does not pop back at you)
Heat oil
Using tongs in one hand and screen in other, place Corn Tortilla in heated oil for 5 seconds, flip to other side for 5 seconds
Remove from oil and place tortilla in large bowl with green chili sauce covering both sides (You can do this one at a time or stack tortillas on top of each other).
Remove tortillas one at a time from sauce and place in baking pan
Place chicken with cheese in tortilla and place Chopped Green Chili's on top of chicken
Roll tortilla and repeat with others

Pour remaining green chili enchilada sauce on top of enchiladas
Sprinkle cheese on top to liking

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is fully melted (be sure not to burn cheese on top)

ENJOY! :))

***Throwback Thursday: Sophomore Year 99/00***

Sophomore Year was a blast! No longer in that awkward Freshman stage, new friends, late nights swing dancing and started my first job.... Scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins. ;) Luckily we were only allowed 1 free scoop a shift... I could have easily gone through an entire barrel of mint chocolate chip back then...
This year was full of beach time with friends, tons of dances and school activities, JROTC events, my first real high school long term boyfriend, traveling to swing dance for the band Cool Daddy, and watching close friends graduate, join the military and go off to college. This is the school year that I miss the most....

Here are some pics that take me back and tunes from 1999/2000 that I enjoyed. :)

First week back at school and already lazy with Steph

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Southern California's 8th annual Junior ROTC pass and review... Hahahaha, I had to memorize this speech and say it in front of class so much that everyone HATED when I started in at it.. They still hate it this day... Look at What I Received Yesterday!

I am so very happy with my new key chain from Chelsea over at Nametape Bracelets Semper Fi! Of course I had to go with a Red, White & Blue theme... ;) This Marine Wife & mommy to a cute little man is so sweet and creative!

I also surprised my oldest man-child with his very own personalized bracelet! He LOVES it and hasn't taken it off since I put on his wrist last night (yep, he slept with it on)! I had his made in red as well because it is his favorite color, but she has tons of colors to choose from!

I'm looking forward to hosting a Personalized Nametape Key Chain giveaway from her this month!!!
