Thank you for reminding me that while my bed is empty you are always there to fill it with a baby who thinks it is time to get up.... I will never be "lonely" when you come around. (First song that came to mind this morning with the baby's wake up call).
Both boys fevers have broken and they are back to their usual rowdy & playful selves....
But while caring for them I had no time to care for my own illness and I feel like poo.
How does a mother care for herself while putting every ounce of energy into making the little one's well again?
It is wonderful to see them up and about with smiles on their faces though.... Coffee, water, vitamins & chicken soup will be my friend today.... And the hopes that while the man-child is at school, baby will nap so I can do the same....
Sincerely,
Mommy/Wifey who needs her DH home and a battery recharge

I wish I was your neighbor. I'd watch the kids and let you rest. I know how it is to be sick and have kids that feel great. That's not a good combination. Try your best to take it easy.
ReplyDeleteoh i'm sorry...glad that both your boys are now feeling better..sometimes we just don't care much about sleep when the kids are not feeling good or are sick and then we'll feel the fatigue after...i hope you can get your energy back!

It's so hard when you and the kiddos are sick at the same time. I'm glad the kids on on the mend. Snag some rest whenever you can. (((hugs)))
